MA Collection - Outfit 12

In this biker jacket, I tried to use as many different kinds of fur as possible to make it particularly striking. I initially intended to make a bee-shaped skirt, but if I made it of fur, because it doesn’t have any ‘stretch’, the wearer would not be able to walk in it unless there was a slit and any such slit would not match my design. I therefore decided to make trousers which looked like a skirt. I faced a problem in how to attach and detach the shoulder pads. At first, I thought of using metal buttons but they were not aesthetically pleasing so I added emblems and hid the metal buttons inside. But because the pads were curved they just fell down so I made them into a raglan shape using fusing and boning which worked well.
